The Isle of Anglesey, or Ynys Môn as it is known in the native Welsh language, is an ancient island off the north-west coast of Wales and Bangor. It is a hidden jewel beyond one of Britain's largest national parks, Snowdonia, and a land of rugged beauty.

To find out more about Anglesey's facilities, visit the official Anglesey Tourism website or to see a list of attractions visit the WalesLive guide.

History has played a large part in the making of Anglesey and if this interests you, visit the History of Anglesey website to find out more information. There are many areas of historical interest on Anglesey and Holy Island to visit.

Moranedd Guest House is located on Holy Island, a small island connected by land to Anglesey. Trearddur Bay is the main holiday resort of Holy Island and offers a wealth of places to eat (The Treaddur Bay Hotel, The Waterfront, plus local cafés like Southstack Kitchen), beautiful places to walk, a variety of wonderful Blue Flag beaches and coves, as well as fishing, watersports and a quality golf course (Holyhead Golf Course) - most is only five minutes walk away.
